Andeep grew up in Bakersfield, raised by her hardworking Punjabi parents. She attended Ridgeview High School before earning her B.A. in Political Science with a focus on Pre-Law from CSU Bakersfield. Andeep earned her Juris Doctor from the Southern California Institute of Law in Ventura.
Focused on serving her community, Andeep returned to Bakersfield and joined the Kern County Superior Court as a Judicial Courtroom Assistant for three years, primarily working in the family law division.
Andeep then joined the Kern County District Attorney's Bureau of Investigation. She investigated complex welfare fraud cases for over four years in the Special Investigations Unit. Andeep ultimately became a prosecutor in the District Attorney's Office, handling misdemeanor criminal cases and quickly advanced to prosecute serious felonies. Andeep prosecuted violent felonies including assault, attempted murder, robbery, and cases carrying a potential life sentence.
Through her time investigating and prosecuting cases, Andeep has gained a unique understanding of how to analyze any legal issue and serve as a zealous advocate. Andeep is ready to represent her community and fight for you in court. Andeep is a member of the Sikh Women's Association and the Kern County Bar Association.
